Off the line, the Roma hits 100 km/h in 3.43 s versus 3.55 s for the Portofino. At this point, the Roma leads by 0.12 s and sits roughly 1 m ahead.
At 200 metres, the Roma is doing 182 km/h against 177 km/h for the Portofino. The gap is 0.14 s. The gap remains stable from the start.
At 400 metres standing start, the Roma crosses the line in 10.68 s versus 10.92 s. The 0.24 s gap represents roughly 15 m of track - two to three car lengths.
Past 400 metres, the Roma continues to build its lead. At 600 metres, it runs at 256 km/h versus 249 km/h. At 1,000 metres, the Roma finishes in 18.88 s versus 19.36 s, with a 0.48 s lead. Both vehicles have similar top speeds (357 vs 348 km/h), preventing any comeback.
With two combustion powertrains, the difference comes down to power-to-weight ratio (2.37 kg/hp vs 2.58 kg/hp) and transmission (Automatic vs Automatic).
In European road use (130 km/h max), both vehicles reach the legal speed limit in under 4.72 seconds. The 0.12 s difference in 0 to 100 km/h is mostly felt in motorway merging and overtaking.
Over 0–100 km/h, Roma wins (3,43 s vs 3,55 s).
Roma goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 3,43 seconds (calibrated simulation).
