Off the line, the 911 Carrera S (PDK) hits 100 km/h in 4.14 s versus 7.55 s for the Cayenne Platinum Edition. At this point, the 911 Carrera S (PDK) leads by 3.41 s and sits roughly 21 m ahead.
At 200 metres, the 911 Carrera S (PDK) is doing 156 km/h against 119 km/h for the Cayenne Platinum Edition. The gap is 2.17 s. The challenger starts to claw back ground.
At 400 metres standing start, the 911 Carrera S (PDK) crosses the line in 12.09 s versus 15.50 s. The 3.41 s gap represents roughly 133 m of track - a gap visible to the naked eye.
Past 400 metres, the 911 Carrera S (PDK) continues to build its lead. At 600 metres, it runs at 217 km/h versus 166 km/h. At 1,000 metres, the 911 Carrera S (PDK) finishes in 21.76 s versus 28.19 s, with a 6.42 s lead.
Both rivals are electronically governed, but not at the same level: the 911 Carrera S (PDK) is capped at 300 km/h, the Cayenne Platinum Edition at 229 km/h. This isn’t a physical engine limit - it’s a manufacturer choice, usually for tyre safety or homologation reasons. Neither car reaches its true aerodynamic top speed.
With two combustion powertrains, the difference comes down to power-to-weight ratio (3.73 kg/hp vs 6.68 kg/hp) and transmission (Automatic vs Unknown).
In European road use (130 km/h max), both vehicles reach the legal speed limit in under 11.90 seconds. The 3.41 s difference in 0 to 100 km/h is mostly felt in motorway merging and overtaking.
Over 0–100 km/h, 911 Carrera S (PDK) 991.1 wins (4,14 s vs 7,55 s).
911 Carrera S (PDK) 991.1 goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 4,14 seconds (calibrated simulation).
