Off the line, the SF90 Stradale hits 100 km/h in 2.54 s versus 4.08 s for the 911 GT3. The instant torque of 800 Nm from the electric motor makes the difference. At this point, the SF90 Stradale leads by 1.54 s and sits roughly 10 m ahead.
At 200 metres, the SF90 Stradale is doing 193 km/h against 158 km/h for the 911 GT3. The gap is 1.41 s. The challenger starts to claw back ground.
At 400 metres standing start, the SF90 Stradale crosses the line in 9.75 s versus 11.85 s. The 2.10 s gap represents roughly 110 m of track - a gap visible to the naked eye.
Past 400 metres, the SF90 Stradale continues to build its lead. At 600 metres, it runs at 268 km/h versus 225 km/h. At 1,000 metres, the SF90 Stradale finishes in 17.54 s versus 21.23 s, with a 3.70 s lead.
Instant electric torque gives an advantage off the line. The higher top speed of the combustion engine gives an advantage over longer distances. The distance at which one catches the other depends on the top speed differential.
In European road use (130 km/h max), both vehicles reach the legal speed limit in under 5.61 seconds. The 1.54 s difference in 0 to 100 km/h is mostly felt in motorway merging and overtaking.
Over 0–100 km/h, SF90 Stradale wins (2,54 s vs 4,08 s).
SF90 Stradale goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 2,54 seconds (calibrated simulation).
