Off the line, the 911 Carrera (PDK) hits 100 km/h in 4.52 s versus 5.65 s for the Cayman (Manual). At this point, the 911 Carrera (PDK) leads by 1.14 s and sits roughly 9 m ahead.
At 200 metres, the 911 Carrera (PDK) is doing 151 km/h against 135 km/h for the Cayman (Manual). The gap is 0.82 s. The challenger starts to claw back ground.
At 400 metres standing start, the 911 Carrera (PDK) crosses the line in 12.54 s versus 13.79 s. The 1.24 s gap represents roughly 57 m of track - a gap visible to the naked eye.
Past 400 metres, the 911 Carrera (PDK) continues to build its lead. At 600 metres, it runs at 209 km/h versus 193 km/h. At 1,000 metres, the 911 Carrera (PDK) finishes in 22.57 s versus 24.69 s, with a 2.12 s lead.
Electronically capped at 287 km/h, the 911 Carrera (PDK) never reaches its natural aerodynamic ceiling in this duel. That’s not a physical limit of the motor - it’s a deliberate manufacturer decision, typically tied to standard-fit tyre ratings or model-range positioning.
With two combustion powertrains, the difference comes down to power-to-weight ratio (4.16 kg/hp vs 4.94 kg/hp) and transmission (Automatic vs Manual).
In European road use (130 km/h max), both vehicles reach the legal speed limit in under 8.61 seconds. The 1.14 s difference in 0 to 100 km/h is mostly felt in motorway merging and overtaking.
Over 0–100 km/h, 911 Carrera (PDK) 991.1 wins (4,51 s vs 5,65 s).
911 Carrera (PDK) 991.1 goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 4,51 seconds (calibrated simulation).
