Off the line, the Boxster S hits 100 km/h in 5.07 s versus 5.08 s for the Boxster S. The 0.00 s gap is negligible: both vehicles are neck and neck.
At 200 metres, the Boxster S is doing 143 km/h against 143 km/h for the Boxster S. The gap is 0.05 s. The gap remains stable from the start.
At 400 metres standing start, the Boxster S crosses the line in 13.18 s versus 13.23 s. The 0.05 s gap represents roughly 2 m of track - barely a car length.
Past 400 metres, the Boxster S continues to build its lead. At 600 metres, it runs at 199 km/h versus 198 km/h. At 1,000 metres, the Boxster S finishes in 23.72 s versus 23.87 s, with a 0.15 s lead. Both vehicles have similar top speeds (272 vs 262 km/h), preventing any comeback.
Both rivals share the same electronic speed cap: the Boxster S and the Boxster S are governed to 272 km/h. At that speed, standard-fit tyres approach their safety threshold - an industrial ceiling common to most electric vehicles in this segment. Neither car shows its true aerodynamic potential in this duel.
With two combustion powertrains, the difference comes down to power-to-weight ratio (4.39 kg/hp vs 4.32 kg/hp) and transmission (Automatic vs Unknown).
In European road use (130 km/h max), both vehicles reach the legal speed limit in under 7.54 seconds. The 0.00 s difference in 0 to 100 km/h is mostly felt in motorway merging and overtaking.
Over 0–100 km/h, Boxster S and Boxster S are neck and neck (5,07 s vs 5,08 s, no significant gap).
Boxster S goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 5,07 seconds (calibrated simulation).
Boxster S: 314 hp, ratio 4,39 kg/hp. Boxster S: 314 hp, ratio 4,32 kg/hp.
Boxster S: 272 km/h. Boxster S: 262 km/h.
